The PENN Battle III Spinning Reel is built for the toughest saltwater fishing conditions. With a sturdy all-aluminum composition, including a forged and machined aluminum spool, and Line Capacity Rings, this reel ensures long-lasting performance.

PROFESSIONAL GEAR TECHNOLOGY

Recover line at an impressive rate of 22 inches (56 cm) per crank turn, thanks to the reel's 5.2:1 gear ratio. The superline spool securely holds braided line, with mono capacity up to 275 yards for 2 pound test, 135 yards for 4 pound test, and 105 yards for 6 pound test. For larger braided lines, the capacities are 160 yards for 6 pound test, 130 yards for 8 pound test, and 110 yards for 10 pound test.

SMOOTH OPERATING SYSTEM

The Battle III boasts 6 total bearings, featuring 5 stainless steel ball bearings and 1 instant anti-reverse bearing. This setup ensures smooth operation, making it ideal for any saltwater fishing experience.

POWERFUL DRAG SYSTEM

Equipped with a reliable HT-100 front drag system, this reel delivers a maximum drag of 9 pounds (4.0kg) thanks to carbon fiber washers. The right/left handle position allows for flexible use, providing the perfect grip for any angler.
